Our Signature Dishes

姜酒麻油鸡面线
Ginger Wine Chicken Mee Sua

Ginger, ginger wine and sesame oil are used in this dish as they are considered to be ‘warming’ in nature. Ginger and wine help to get rid of ‘wind’ and ‘warm’ the postpartum body, whilst sesame oil helps to promote blood circulation.

当归鸡精炖鸡
Steamed Chinese Angelica Chicken with Chicken Essence

Chicken essence helps to speed up postpartum recovery from symptoms such as low energy level and fatigue, whilst Chinese Angelica helps to tonify the blood, clear postpartum blood stasis, alleviate pain and improve the Qi energy.

猪脚姜醋
Pork Trotter in Black Vinegar and Ginger

Black vinegar is known to purify the blood, stabilize pH levels in the body as well as to improve digestion and appetite during the postpartum period. Together with ginger and sesame oil, this dish helps to ‘expel wind and dampness’ in the body.

Pork trotters deliver the essential amount of collagen needed for healing and anti-aging, while egg provides a good source of protein.

红糟鱼
Red Vinasse Fish

This dish is favoured during Confinement due to the nutritional benefits of fish, whilst red vinasse helps to boost metabolism, fight inflammation as well as to lower blood sugar and cholesterol level.

麻油姜丝炒猪肝
Stir-fry Pork Liver with Ginger and Sesame Oil

Pork liver contains a good source of iron, Vitamin B and folate which are essential for postpartum recovery, specifically during the first 2 weeks after child birth.

青木瓜鱼汤
Fish with Green Papaya Soup

Papaya does not only provide a tangy flavour to the soup, it is also rich in vitamin A and C. It provides folate, a natural source of vitamin B, and is rich in dietary fibres and minerals such as potassium.
The fresh fish used in this soup is a good source of protein that promotes healing and improves immunity. Fish is also a good source of Omega-3 fatty acids and DHA-beneficial for brain development in newborns and infants. It is also believed to increase breast milk supply.
